Jackie's First Five Years family child care provides a loving, child–friendly, engaging environment, with developmentally appropriate activities for young children approximately 2 years to 5 years. Our efforts maximize children's daily experiences while respecting the unique pace of children’s development by supporting the whole child's development and learning. Our goal is to guide and encourage children’s natural curiosities, promote learning through hands-on exploration with an emphasis on relationships and outdoor experiences. We seek and strive for family partnerships that reflect our belief that children flourish in a community who values each other’s experience, background, and unique role in the child’s life. Jackie is a creative, unique, committed, thoughtful and loving teacher inspired by the Reggio Emilian, Hygge and Nature Based approaches to early childhood.
First Five Years implements high quality best practices in a 4 Star Parent Aware rated program.
